Он также отметил, что «сейчас все чаще появляется информация о пытках заключенных» и предложил создать международный трибунал против пыток. Речь он закончил словами «я хочу, чтобы журналисты умирали старыми» и попросил зал почтить минутой молчания память погибших журналистов

Join us live for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony.


The 2021 Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony takes place in Oslo City Hall.


The ceremony contains artistic performances, a speech by the chair of the Nobel Committee, presentation of the diploma and gold medal to the laureates, and finally the laureates' Nobel Peace Prize lectures.


The Norwegian Nobel Committee is expecting both Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov to attend the ceremony.

Moreover, the World Food Programme, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2020, will be represented at the ceremony by its Executive Director David Beasley. Mr. Beasley will deliver the Nobel Peace Prize lecture on behalf of the World Food Programme.
